Minister for information John Whittingdale ousted in Cupboard reshuffle

John Whittingdale, previously minister for media and information on the Division for Digital, Tradition, Media and Sport (DCMS), has fallen sufferer to prime minister Boris Johnson’s Cupboard reshuffle.

Whittingdale mentioned from his Twitter account: “I’m sorry to be stepping down as minister for media and information and saying goodbye to an excellent crew of ministers and officers.
